Happy Friday everyone! Who's walking this weekend and what are your walking goals?
I have always been walking, so I joined Walking with Walgreens, I will walk till I can't do it any more.
Great job, Donna. I haven't been as faithful as I should be in maintaining a healthy lifestyle so this program is a nice reminder. Great to know others up for the change in lifestyle!
Everone have a good weekend and lets rember why we are walking for!?
I walk mostly everyday with work but I do it mostly cuz I like it . unfortunately I lost my pedometer that came with walgreens walk box thing darn it, I actually liked seeing how much I walked even in my house & going up & down stairs. I'll have to wait to get another ped end of month when I get paid again. Is there anyone in Newport News,VA name Courthouse Green that's doing the walk? Would like company.
Wednesday, May 9th. Just finished walking my walk .... Love that pedometer! 4823 steps..Wow!! Good brisk walk, difficult due to uneven aspahlt, gravel that lead to road running out and onto dirt road...blue skies, sunshine shinning making it hot, and just enjoying the scenice nature wallk on back roads in my neighborhood that have yet to be developed.... Have a week eveyone and all mothers Happy Mothers Day.
Keep up the walking.
Before signing up with 'Walk with Walgreens' I had not been counting steps. Today was the 104th time since beginning to count and I have built up 989442 steps over that span for a daily average of 9514 steps. If all goes well tomorrow I should break the million mark and once there, my next personal goal shall be to walk 2.5 million additional steps by end of the year; should increase daily average to 10729. Today, 5/11, is the tenth day this month that I've surpassed 10,000 steps and therefore should easily hit this goal.
Started early today for my walk it was not that hot. Moderate walk not to difficult.
All mothers have a Great Happy Mothers Day weekend this weekend.
