We are rewarding our Walk with Walgreens members by giving away 5 $100 Walgreens gift cards every week – and entering to win is now as simple as walking!
Sign in to the site (if you are not registered, please click here to register), log your walk by "Plotting your walk on a map" or simply "Entering your steps" and you will be automatically entered – it’s that easy! Each walk you log is an entry, so the more you walk the greater your chances.
Winners are randomly selected and will be announced every Monday on the website. Official contest rules can be found here.
So start walking, logging, and keep checking in to see if you’ve won. Not only will you be getting healthy and feeling better – you could win $100 to spend at Walgreens!

@ Dawn:
yell fire and see how far you can get him to actually RUN!! L.O.L
I did that to my older sister knowing that she needs to work out and in the long run, it actually works. I was in my backyard doing some yard work and she was in the house smoking her cigarettes and I just yelled out Fire and she came running out after me down the street. For the last week we have been doing a slow but hard work out now when I come home from school now. See what happens. Try it But wait until he's in a good mood.
I began walking the end of July because I found out that I had Peripheral artery disease. Ironically, for me, it is painful to walk due to that and a spinal cord disease "tarlov cyst" but now I force myself to go out each day and this really helps me overcome the depression that goes along with having a disability. Thanks Walgreens for the pleasure of sharing.
have lost 26 lbs so far, still have a long way to go so I'm walk
ing more!
You can do it sensimel, just stay
strong
@ Dawn - My husband is the same way (well, not the couch part, but the too busy to walk with me part). We have two dogs, so I tell him I'd like to take the dogs on a walk, but can't handle both of them myself :) I also remind him that our walks are basically our only "alone" time - you know, w/o the laundry or the dinner or the TV. Hope this helps.
My husband too! He is tired after working all day and would rather watch TV or go on the computer then take a walk. I walk during the day so I can walk where and when and how far I want to.
I enjoy all my years of trying to keep in shape. I have found that I have to do it by myself. At times, I may have someone to walk with, but I must depend on myself, and that is what I do .
Small steps, I am down from 198 to 191.
